What is it and how does it happen?<\/strong><\/p>\nAir abrasion in dentistry is achieved by using a special machine that sprays air combined with dust and water at a specific pressure. The uses of air friction are as follows:<\/p>\n
– Removal of pigments and dental plaque from the teeth
– Treatment of peri-implantitis
– Combating hypersensitivity of the teeth.
– Caries removal in order to create a filling without the use of a dental wheel and anaesthetic injection.
– Increase the durability of fillings and prosthetic restorations due to the optimization of the bonding surface.<\/p>\n
The procedure is not painful at all, no anaesthesia is required and it is quiet.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
